Who is in charge of this project, and who can we contact?

Where will proceeds go for this project?

All proceeds for IQ (Niflheim & Lucis) will go towards ACAP (African Carribbean Achievement Project), an independent UK charity whose focus is to work closely to support children on the verge of being excluded in order to let them reach their full academic potential.

What currency does this store use?

All prices for this store are listed in GBP (British Pound Sterling). On the day in which the store was set up, all prices were a 1:1 conversion to our USD prices .


Why are there two stores?

We are following a dual production method for this magazine (UK & US), and therefore are collecting both currencies (USD & GBP) to reduce conversion rates on production costs.


Proceeds from both stores will be combined for the final charity donation.



Will the physical magazine/merchandise be available to purchase after pre-orders?

A very limited number of zines will be available to purchase after the 6 week pre-order window. It is strongly recommended that customers purchase during the pre-order window as we cannot guarantee inventory for all future customers, especially as our reserves may need to be used to cover missing packages for existing customers. 


A handful of zines will be reserved by project leader He6o for in-person sale at an undisclosed future UK Kupocon, the proceeds of which will make up a second smaller charity donation. These will be first-come first-served on the day.


A second print run of the magazine is highly unlikely as it would require approval from all contributors and a large number of sales to fund production. Buy now if you can, or contact us if you might require a short extension of our pre-order window.



Will the PDF be available after the pre-order window?

PDFs will be available from now until the end of the leftover sales window. Availability after this time is subject to our contributor’s approval.



When do pre-orders end?

The pre-order window will close after midnight GMT (UTC) on July 15th2021, providing no further extension is requested.



What do I do if I need to change my order?

Please contact us at [email protected] for any change requests (e.g. cancellation requests, errors during checkout, requests to change or add to existing orders without incurring excess shipping costs.)



I have sent an e-mail. How long will it take for me to get a response?

We are a very small operation, with our lead moderator in charge of both store fronts. Please give us at least 24-48 hours to respond, allowing for differences in timezones and availability. We will ensure that all customer issues are resolved before the end of the sale period. If you have sent an e-mail and it has not been answered within 3 days, please attempt to contact our twitter or message moderator @He6o directly.




FEES


How are the shipping fees determined? 

Shipping fees are calculated by considering total package weight, packing materials and final destination. 



Why is shipping so expensive compared to other projects?

In addition to recent shipping increases, the weight of our magazine is substantially greater than for some other projects, partly due to its size (A4 instead of A5) and partly due to the page count.

Where are your magazines dispatched from?

All orders made from this store will be dispatched from our fulfilment moderator in England, UK (East Midlands).

When will orders be dispatched?

Our goal is to have all orders dispatched by early September. This may vary depending on the production time for products, the time taken to export merchandise to our UK fulfilment, shipping disruptions due to global events or distributor availability (to ensure all products are shipped on the same day). 


If there are any delays in the process we will inform our customers via our twitter and tumblr pages. Please follow us to keep up-to date on news of your purchases and our intended final posting date!



Once dispatched, how long will my items take to arrive?

Royal Mail estimates a 1-2 week timeline for overseas orders, but due to current shipping congestion 2-3 weeks may be advised. If your item has not arrived after a month, please e-mail us and we will investigate the delay on your behalf. 


What if my shipping details change?

Please email us with your revised shipping information as soon as possible and provide your order number for easy reference. Our email is: [email protected]



Will I get a tracking number? What if my package goes missing without one?

Due to very high costs shipping with tracking is an opt-in option. In the experience of our head moderator and UK distributor, RM tracked shipping is not necessarily advised unless the destination country is known for losing packages or the purchaser would prefer for their peace of mind. Any missing packages can be chased up or refunded regardless of tracking as proof-of-postage will be obtained on all orders. 



When will the PDF be delivered?

The PDF will be sent out two weeks after physical dispatch, around the time when most magazines will have arrived at their destinations. This is to ensure that most of our customers receive their purchases at the same time.



What do I do if my package doesn’t arrive? 

If your item has not arrived within a month, please contact us at [email protected] and we will follow up your order with Royal Mail. If your item cannot be found and delivered we will recover funds from RM and have a replacement item sent out.
